Chelsea and Manchester City promised a lot and delivered much more than imagined. In a great game, surely one of the best of the season, they tied 4-4 on matchday 12 of the Premier League with Enzo Fernández and Julián Alvarez as starters in London. Erling Haaland opened the scoring in the 25th minute through a penalty, but the team led by Mauricio Pochettino turned it around thanks to Thiago Silva (PT 29) and Raheem Sterling (PT 37), who complied with the former’s law. However, Pep Guardiola’s men tied it at the close of the initial stage by Manuel Akanji (PT 46). It was already a great game and there was still more to go, no less than another four goals. Haaland, after an assist from Julián Alvarez, converted his double and made it 3-2 two minutes into the game; Nicolas Jackson (ST 22) matched the actions again, Rodrigo (ST 41) took advantage of a deflection in Silva to put the visitors back on top and when the match was over, Cole Palmer (ST 45) made it 4-4.
