Liverpool will have to face Chelsea for a new League Cup final.

Already in the semi-finals, Liverpool beat Fulham 3-2 on aggregate, reaching their 13th final.
On the other hand, Chelsea beat AFC Wimbledon in the second round, Brighton in the third round, Blackburn Rovers in the round of 16 and in the quarterfinals they tied with Newcastle, so they went to penalties and won by 4-2.
Already in the semi-finals, the Blues lost the first leg to Middlesbrough 0-1 and won 6-1 in the second leg, advancing to their ninth League Cup final.
