Thomas Tuchel’s new club could bet on interior defender Achraf Hakimi to strengthen next summer.
In the red financially because of the economic crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Inter Milan would definitely need to find 150 million euros before the start of next season according to information from the Gazzetta dello Sport. And to pay off its debt, the Milan club would intend to get rid of 5 players during the next summer transfer window. One of them is said to be Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi, followed closely by Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City. The other players in the hot seat are Aleksandar Kolarov, Ashley Young, Danilo D’Ambrosio and Matteo Darmian.
Arrived from Real Madrid last season, the 22-year-old side – estimated at around 50 million euros – could happily bail out the club. A battle is therefore likely to engage between the three leaders of the Premier League next season, but the Italian media believes that Thomas Tuchel’s club is a little ahead of its competitors. Among the Blues, Hakimi would also find his compatriot Hakim Ziyech and especially a game system that he already masters. Since arriving on the bench last month, the former PSG coach has imposed his 3-4-3.
