Amid ongoing rumors linking Nkunku to the Blues, former Chelsea star Glen Johnson insists the player would be ‘crazy’ to consider leaving now and expects Nkunku will soon start getting a big impact for Maresca.
“His start to life at the club was quite difficult when he suffered his injury and we don’t know if he’s completely over it yet,” Johnson said (h/t Team Chat).
“At times we’ve seen some really good stuff from him and with Chelsea going in the right direction, he’d be crazy to jump ship now.
