A 31-year-old man died after he and another victim were hospitalized following a shooting on a Manhattan street corner, police said.
The two men were shot at around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday near the intersection of West 19th Street and Ninth Avenue in Chelsea, according to police. It was unclear what led up to the shooting.
One victim, a 27-year-old man, was shot in the right arm and the 31-year-old man was shot in the abdomen. Both victims were taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue.
The first victim remains in stable condition, but the second was pronounced dead.
An investigation is ongoing and no suspects have yet been identified.
