Chelsea are said to be in talks with Borussia Dortmund over a sensational move for Erling Haaland – with the club likely to offer Tammy Abraham as part of a swap deal.
Having scored 49 times in 52 games, Haaland has gained worldwide interest, however, it is the current European champions who are in pole position to clinch the Norwegian talisman.
And according to reports, the Blues are considering the ambitious idea of swapping their disgraced forward Abraham, plus the cash, in a deal for Haaland – although this is unlikely to satisfy Dortmund.
As it stands, Haaland – widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world right now – has a £ 64million release clause which will only become active next year.
This means Dortmund have all the power to keep him – and any interested club will surely have to pay over £ 100million to change positions.

Exploring their options, the west London club could offer Abraham as a makeshift weight in a swap deal for the 20-year-old, according to The Telegraph.
The report, however, states that it is not clear whether Chelsea will launch an official offer for the striker.
Abraham’s future in west London looks limited, especially after being excluded from Thomas Tuchel’s match squad on several occasions last season, including the Champions League final.
Much like the Dortmund stars and fellow Englishmen Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham, a move to Germany could be a chance for the 23-year-old to propel his name into stardom.
Will Dortmund be interested in the departure of their star for a player who barely played for Chelsea last season? Probably not.
