Chelsea Secure Transfer of Manchester City’s Cole Palmer for €52 million

Chelsea managed to convince Manchester City to transfer Cole Palmer, the young promise of Skyblues. The 21-year-old, who has made 3 appearances and scored 2 goals in all competitions this season, will switch from sky blue at Manchester City to a darker shirt at Chelsea.

After the initial rejection of a €40 million offer from Chelsea, the two clubs eventually reached an agreement for a transfer fee of €52 million, with around €6 million in bonuses included. This transfer was announced by the British press. Cole Palmer, who is also an England Under-21 international, must now travel to London to undergo his medical examination and finalize the signing of his contract with Chelsea.

Transfermarkt estimate the value of the versatile attacking midfielder, who can play as a winger, at €18m. He had a contract with Manchester City until June 2026 and was trained exclusively by this club.
