PORTO – Chelsea managed to lift the trophy Champions League 2020-2021 after beating Manchester City. After the match, Mason Mount was seen entertaining a number of The Citizens.
The 22-year-old midfielder is the scorer of assists for Chelsea’s winning goal at the do Dragao Stadium, Porto, Portugal, Sunday (30/5/2021) early morning WIB. His accurate bait was maximized into a goal by Kai Havertz.
Not only that, Mason Mount was also named Chelsea’s best player this season thanks to his contribution to the team. All these achievements did not make the midfielder born in Portsmouth, January 1999, feel proud. After the game, he greeted all the players and comforted those who lost.

In an interview with BT Sports after the game, Mason Mount explained why he has so much respect for Manchester City’s players. According to him, it is not easy to endure the pain after losing in the final.

“I’ve been to the final twice with Chelsea and both have lost. It’s something that really hurts,” Mason Mount told BT Sport on Sunday (30/5/2021).
“I told them (Manchester City players) that they deserved to be here. It’s difficult for them, but hopefully next season we can compete with them again to win the Premier League.
Mason Mount also told how he couldn’t hold back his tears when he greeted his father who came down from the stands. Those moments, he said, were the happiest moments in life.
“My father just came down from the stands. I cried seeing him. I thank my family for everything.” said Mason Mount.
This is Chelsea’s second Champions League title in history. Previously, the Blues had won the Big Ear trophy in 2012. As for Manchester City, failure in the final made them have to fast longer to lift the trophy in this event.
