Wolfsburg, Chelsea and Juventus all stood at eleven points before the final round. The Italians’ draw in London last week put them in a good position. At the same point and at equal in mutual meetings, goal difference in mutual meetings is what is valued highest in the Champions League. Chelsea, who started with Zeicra Musovic in goal and with Magdalena Eriksson in the back line, were really shocked in the first half. Svenja Huth severely punished Chelsea twice. The first time after 16 minutes after a return that Musovic released straight out and then seven minutes later with a shot from the left.
The result was 2-0 after half the first half. At the same time, Juventus had set the highest speed against Servette where the result was also 2-0. Lina Hurtig stood for one goal where the Swedish national team striker stood for a real class finish. This put enormous pressure on Chelsea, who were eliminated in a two-goal deficit.
