Chelsea have reportedly identified eight players to sign this summer under new owner Todd Boehly.
The British government finally approved, on Wednesday morning, the sale of Chelsea to the Boehly consortium.
The consortium have now bought Chelsea from Roman Abramovich, with the Russian billionaire finally parting ways with the west London club.
Chelsea will lose several players whose contracts come to an end this summer, which means the club will be in dire need of reinforcements.
Sectors of Chelsea’s defense will be particularly worn down, with Antonio Rudiger appearing to be willing to move to Real Madrid while César Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen and Marcos Alonso all appear close to signing for Barcelona.
The Blues finished the 2021/22 season third, 19 points behind title winners Manchester City, and Boehly will be keen to support manager Thomas Tuchel financially to bridge that gap.
According to the Telegraph, Boehly have given Tuchel £200m to spend in the summer transfer window and the club have drawn up a comprehensive list of eight targets.
Les joueurs sont: Jules Kounde (Séville), Josko Gvardiol (RB Leipzig), José Maria Gimenez (Atletico Madrid) and Raheem Sterling (Manchester City).
The others are Declan Rice (West Ham), Ivan Perisic (Inter Milan), Pau Torres (Villarreal) and Neymar (Paris Saint-Germain).
