London: Chelsea again unable to escape defeat. This time they fell in front of Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League. The defeat was due to two unanswered goals. Chelsea showed no sign of reaching excellence in the London derby either. Oliver Skipp and Harry Kane netted the goals for Tottenham.
The fight was goalless in the first half. But after the start of the second half, Tottenham took the lead. After the game entered the last stage, they secured the position by scoring the second goal.
Oliver Skip gave Tottenham the lead with an amazing goal. The star’s long range shot made goalkeeper Kepa Arilabalaga helpless and hit the net. After conceding the goal, Chelsea tried to equalize. But it didn’t work.
Harry Kane netted the second goal in the 81st minute. Kane netted the ball from the corner. Tottenham secured the win with this goal. Chelsea have only conceded one goal in the last six matches including today.
Tottenham remain fourth in the table with 45 points from 25 matches. Chelsea are in 10th place with 31 points with only one win in their last 11 matches.
