Everyone has questioned Chelsea Handler’s love life after she opened up on Instagram on Monday that she is “finally in love, with the best type of guy ever.” And now we have the revelation of who the mystery man is; the one who gave the actress “hope”.
Handler is dating fellow comedian Jo Koy, who was previously a panelist on Chelsea Lately and currently hosts Metal Shop Masters on Netflix – but their friendship already has a long history as they worked together. The two were first spotted at a Los Angeles Dodgers game in late August, according to Page Six, and Koy was shy about their relationship on TMZ Live in early September, using the “great friends” line to keep their dating situation private. But Handler is now ready to tell the world.
“I’m sitting here in Mallorca and thinking about how grateful I am to have so many people I love in my life, to live the life I do and to go on tour to do what I love”, she captioned a thoughtful photo of the sunset on Instagram. “And that I’m finally in love, with the best type of man there is.” There is hope for everyone! This kind of things. “While the duo have not yet formalized their relationship on their Instagram feed, they are definitely showing up on their Instagram Story.
Handler has dated high profile men in the past, including Chef Bobby Flay, 50 Cent, Comcast CEO Ted Harbert (and yes, her E boss!) And hotelier André Balazs, so she’s used to spotlight on her love life. But that kind of gushing joy is something we rarely see from the TV host – and it’s really sweet to see.
