After missing the last editions of WWE RAW, the co-tag team champion made her return during the show on September 11, 2023. Chelsea Green wanted to find a new teammate since Piper Niven was absent, but Piper Niven showed up in stating that she has the green light from the doctor to return. The WWE Tag Team Champions are back.
Last week, we learned that Piper Niven had been withdrawn from competition after suffering an illness. Her last match dates back to August 21, 2023 and visibly today she got rid of this virus which prevented her from participating in WWE shows.
On the September 11 episode of RAW, Chelsea Green lost her match to Shayna Baszler. Piper Niven and Green decided to attack Baszler after the match, which led to Zoey Stark intervening to help Baszler:
Obviously the two enemies are now friends and two new partners.
Chelsea Green and Piper Niven’s next opponents for the tag team titles will definitely be Stark and Baszler in the near future.
