Chelsea entertain Sheffield United in continued FA Cup. The Blues stepped into the next round with a 2-0 win.

One of the matches in the fifth round FA Cup bring together Chelsea vs Sheffield United on Sunday (21/3) evening WIB at Stamford Bridge, London. Two teams competing in the Premier League.

Chelsea closed the first match 1-0 via Oliver Norwood’s own goal in the 24th minute. In the second second half, Chelsea added a goal through Hakim Ziyech in the 90 + 2 minute, cementing the Blues’ 2-0 victory.

Chelsea also stepped into the semifinals FA Cup.

The course of the match

At the start of the first half both teams found it difficult to penetrate the final third of the pitch. Even so in the first 10 minutes, Sheffield threatened with two corners.

24th minute, Chelsea got the first goal via Oliver Norwood’s suicide goal. Starting from a corner kick missed by Mason Mount, the ball flowed to Ben Chilwell outside the penalty box.

The 49th minute, Mason Mount turns to try his luck. His execution of free shots was still off the mark.

The 66th minute, McGoldrick almost scored for Sheffield United. Welcoming a cross, McGoldrick ran unattended to the front of Arrizabalaga. Unfortunately, the header is still wide.

70th minute, Sheffield threatened again. McBurnie fired a measured shot and was still able to be pushed over by Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The 78th minute, Stevens gore the ball from a free kick. Again, just wide of the Kepa net.

The 90th minute, Brewster almost scored. Through a wild ball, he opened a free shot that was narrowly wide.

Hakim Ziyech scored a goal in the 90 + 2 minute. Starting from a counterattack, Kovacic found Ben Chilwell who ran combing down the left wing.

The ball then went to Hakim Ziyech and the Moroccan kicked the ball with his left foot sliding smoothly into the net Sheffield.
