Senegalese defender Kalidou Koulibaly could be used by Chelsea in a swap deal as the Blues look to strengthen their goalkeeping department.
Koulibaly joined Chelsea ahead of the 2022/23 campaign, where he signed from Napoli in a €40m deal.
At the time, the African star joined the English giants as one of the most wanted defenders in the world, but things didn’t go to plan for the towering centre-back. After struggling in the Premier League, Koulibaly has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.
According to La Repubblica and SportBible, Chelsea would like to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper André Onana. The same report mentions that the Blues could include Koulibaly in a swap deal, with the club seen as a ‘big admirer’ of the former Ajax Amsterdam player.
Chelsea are expected to undergo a major overhaul ahead of the new campaign, under Mauricio Pochettino.
