Chelsea, from England, was crowned champion of the Club World Cup this Saturday, for the first time in its history, by beating Palmeiras, from Brazil, 2-1, in extra time, after drawing 1-1 in regular time, in the final played in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
The goals of the London team were from the Belgian Romelu Lukaku (8m. ST) and the German Kai Havertz (115m. 2nd TE), from penaltywhile Raphael Veiga (19m. ST) equalized momentarily, from a penalty.
Chelsea won the Club World Cup this way for the first timesince in 2012 he fell with Corinthians, from Brazil, while Palmeiras continues without the world title – he lost in 1999 with Manchester United for the Intercontinental.

Chelsea tried by all means to break the defensive lock of Palmeiras, who executed his plan to perfection with the exception of Lukaku’s header after an accurate cross from the left flank.
