Chelsea beat Liverpool 1-0 on the road and remains in fourth place in the English Premier League, the “Champions” zone, in one of the three games played today in advance of the 29th date.
English striker Mason Mount scored for the victory of the London team in the 42nd minute of the first stage.
The result held Chelsea to fourth place in the English soccer league with 47 points. Liverpool, current champion, still cannot find the course and is seventh, with 43 units.
Everton, meanwhile, beat West Bromwich 1-0 on the road with a goal from Brazilian forward Richarlison, 20 minutes into the second leg of the match.
Finally Tottenham, with the entry of Argentine Erik Lamela at 29 minutes of the second half, also beat Fulham 1-0 on the road with a goal from defender Tosin Adarabioyo against his own fence, at 19 minutes of the first half.
