Manchester United and Chelsea fight over signing Ecuadorian Wonderkid Moises Caicedo, with Ecuadorian journalist Diego Arcos reporting that his move to United is almost complete.

The news comes after the Daily Mail suggested Chelsea were hoping to steal a march on their rivals to land the talented youngster from Independiente del Valle.

Arcos says Caicedo’s move will certainly happen and should be announced soon, with United reportedly paying £ 4.5million in fees.

The report says Caicedo will sign a five-year deal at Old Trafford, although no news has been announced to confirm the rumors.

If this is true, it confirms the news revealed by the Manchester Evening News that the Reds are pursuing a policy of signing top-rated teenage talent from around the world.

Caicedo turned 19 last month and played for Ecuador in their last four World Cup qualifiers.

Inter will push back Leeds to land De Paul

Internazionale is working with Udinese to try to find a way to make a deal for Rodrigo de Paul in January, according to Calciomercato.

The Udinese midfielder has been heavily linked with Leeds United this summer and has been linked with the Yorkshire club again as the January transfer window draws closer.

However, Inter are hoping they can guarantee the player with an 18-month loan. The Italians hope to be able to bring him to a short-term move and insert a number of performance clauses in connection with a longer move.

Juventus are also said to be interested. De Paul was valued at £ 36million this summer, but Udinese appears to have lowered its valuation to £ 31.5million.

Tarkowski faces Premier League clubs
