Chef Noelian Ortiz Launches YouTube Channel for Gastronomy Adventures and Interviews

Chef Noelian Ortiz announced the launch of her YouTube channel, where she will share weekly interviews, recipes, and restaurant reviews. The first episode will be this Tuesday, August 15, in which the cook paid a visit to the Cuarto 16 restaurant in Miramar and interviewed her colleague, the renowned Puerto Rican chef Giovanna Huyke.

“This is a project that fills me with great enthusiasm, because I will be able to work on things that I have not done before, such as interviewing other chefs and gastronomy figures. In addition, I will visit restaurants and tourist places related to Puerto Rican gastronomy, and of course, I will share recipes, in which I will incorporate some of my international trips”, expressed the chef, who had an outstanding participation in the second season of MasterChef Latino.

The platform seeks to be a space where people can learn about local and international gastronomy, while they accompany Chef Noelian on his adventures through different restaurants in Puerto Rico and on his international trips. Likewise, with the interviews that he will carry out on this digital platform, Ortiz wants to document the history of other Puerto Rican chefs, told by themselves through their own anecdotes.

“This idea came to me when on one occasion a group of students from Guayama called me for a project and told me that they couldn’t find an updated biography of some local chefs. That is why I immediately wanted to incorporate interviews into this project, which I had been cooking for a long time. The first interview will be with the chef Giovanna Huyke, whom I greatly admire, and the second will be with the beloved chef Edgar Noel”, he explained.

Noelian Ortiz is a chef from Canóvanas, known for her outstanding participation in the second season of MasterChef Latino, and has a cooking segment on Telemundo’s Día a Día program. In addition, she is a well-known gastronomy influencer, who uses her social networks to share tips and easy recipes with her thousands of followers. She is also the owner of the Runway Center Arts Institute.
