The cooking world has lost one of the biggest names in Southwestern gastronomy. Claude Darroze died in Fargues, Gironde, at the age of 80, revealed South West. The chef known for her participation in Top Chef is not the only one of the Darroze clan to have expressed herself on social networks. The son of the octogenarian who died on the night of Friday 12 to Saturday 13 November also wanted to pay tribute to his father on Instagram. “A few days ago, we announced the death of our dear uncle Francis Darroze… Today my father Claude Darroze has gone to join him. It is a new part of our family history which is coming to an end, ”he writes under the photo of Claude Darroze.
