The cooking world has lost one of the biggest names in Southwestern gastronomy. Claude Darroze died in Fargues, Gironde, at the age of 80, revealed South West. The famous chef joins his brother Francis Darroze, who died six days earlier. After announcing the death of his father, it is now to her uncle that Hélène Darroze must say goodbye. On her Instagram profile, the juror of Top chef paid homage to them by posting a photo of the two brothers from behind, captioned with a touching text: “They loved each other too much these two… inseparable in the heart and in the kitchen… My uncle Claude left this night to join his beloved brother… the story is very beautiful and up there there are some who will enjoy themselves. But our big family is orphaned by its two patriarchs ”, we can read under the photo.
The chef known for her participation in Top Chef is not the only one of the Darroze clan to have expressed herself on social networks. The son of the octogenarian who died on the night of Friday 12 to Saturday 13 November also wanted to pay tribute to his father on Instagram. “A few days ago, we announced the death of our dear uncle Francis Darroze… Today my father Claude Darroze has gone to join him. It is a new part of our family history which is coming to an end, ”he writes under the photo of Claude Darroze. Cousin ofHélène Darroze assured its subscribers that they will be informed of the date chosen for the funeral, which will be held in Villeneuve-de-Marsan, (…)
