He was very afraid but also very sorry for what happened. Unfortunately it devastated her life and her home in Romagna.
It hasn’t been a good year for Emilia Romagna. Between May and June 2023 the entire region was the protagonist of the news headlines because of one terrible flood that devastated it and which affected a good part of its areas. Unfortunately, among these there is also the one in which he lives Bruno Barbieri.
There was so much water that it invaded every corner of the chef’s house. It destroyed everything, memories, various objects both of value and not and made what should be a welcoming place to live, uninhabitable.
Even for a strong personality like his it was a real shock to witness all this and see your home transform into an environment to be completely rebuilt.
Shocked, he commented on the story with these words: “it was devastating. You see your life, your memories, everything you’ve built, disappear into a sea of mud.”
Support for those who have lost their homes
Unfortunately the chef he is not the only victim of the tragedy. Many families lost everything in that flood and found each other again to rebuild everything from scratch. Fortunately, however, in this disaster they were not left alone. Everyone tried to give comfort and support to the victims and Bruno Barbieri also played his part.
To help these people recover from this terrible situation, it has organized a series of charity events to raise funds to support them. In fact, he declared: “My house may be rebuilt, but there are people who have lost much more. I want to help however I can.” With a post on his social networks he then wanted to give a message of support to all the people of Romagna: “A thought and a hug to all those who are experiencing such a difficult moment in Emilia-Romagna in these hours. Remember that you are not alone and that you will soon be stronger than before. Come on guys, we’re with you!”

All united in support of the same cause
Many people have joined the chef to support those who have been victims of this terrible flood and just as many charitable initiatives have been organized. In fact, all of Italy has united to support one causethat is, to help these people rebuild their homes and get back to living.
For everyone, however, the tragedy was not only a way to unite to do good, but also to do open the eyes of those who do not take the problem of climate change seriously. They are not to be underestimated at all and something must be done to prevent these tragedies from happening again.
