Curious how much time you actually spend on Elden Ring? Or how many hours of your life did Harvestella gobble up? The sometimes painful truth is now emerging, because you can check out the Steam Year in Review 2022. It’s the annual list of gaming platforms Vapor.

An interesting list is shaping up, because from this year we no longer only play Steam on PC, but we can also play portable games. This year, Steam appeared Bridge, the game console which, like Switch, can be used both via television and on the move. This has created much more moments for you to enjoy Steam games. It will not surprise us if there are many people who suddenly have much higher achievements.

You can also launch a game via the Steam Deck while waiting for the bus or on the television if someone else needs the PC. Nowadays it can even be done in your Tesla, simply via the dashboard screen. There are so many other options, that Steam has probably become a lot more popular as well. The fact that Steam is still maintaining high sales also helps. For example, the winter sale is currently underway, so you can buy games that are normally quite expensive for a fraction of that amount.

Either way, it’s a pleasure that you can now see how much time you’ve spent playing Steam games this year. Sort of Spotify Wrapped, but for gaming. I’m just looking a little further. Spotify runs from January 1 to October 31, but Steam runs from January 1 to December 14, which gives a significantly more representative picture. This is especially important with games, because many games are released in November (just before the holidays).
