Aestika said, since the launch of Indonesian President Joko Widodo on August 24, 2020, BRI has distributed BPUM of IDR 10.3 trillion to 4.3 million recipients.

How to register for assistance
The government provides Productive Micro Entrepreneurs Banpres (BPUM) with a nominal value of Rp 2.4 million.
To get this assistance, the community can contact the Cooperative and UMKM Office according to their domicile.
“The way is to write or call the office that handles cooperatives and MSMEs to be proposed as potential recipients of BPUM. The service will verify and propose to the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises,” said Deputy for Financing of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small Medium Enterprises, Hanung Harimba Rachman. Prospective beneficiaries can also be proposed by cooperatives that have been legalized as legal entities.
