Check These Components If Your Car’s Radiator Fan Suddenly Shuts Off

GridOto.com – Every car has a radiator fan whose job is to help cool the radiator water temperature.

Generally nowadays, the radiator fan used is of the electric type.

The fan rotation is regulated by the motor and the time the fan starts is regulated by the temperature sensor.

Some cars experience overheating because the radiator fan suddenly turns off.

“Don’t panic just yet, check the fuse components,” said Suparna, Head of the Auto2000 Workshop, Cilandak, South Jakarta.

“A blown fuse causes no electricity to flow to the fan motor,” he added.

As a result the fan will stop working and make the engine temperature rise.

Radiator fan fuses are usually located in the engine bay along with other electrical fuses.
