The rest period started right after the 6-1 victory against Ayacucho, by the pre-Libertadores. Then, a team made up of boys did the job, defeating Esportivo and Aimoré by Gauchão, in addition to Ayacucho again, by the pre-Libertadores.

The Gremista team has not yet confirmed any reinforcements for the 2021 season. So, the injured players from Grêmio can be considered a kind of reinforcement, especially defender Pedro Geromel, who has been out since January.
