This update arrived a few days after the PlayStation 5 Firmware Beta release

Check out the improvements present in the Firmware Beta 9.00:
- You will be able to view PS5 game trophies on PS4;
- If you are the owner of a group, you can delete messages there;
- When blocking another user, you can choose if you want to leave the party that only you and that person are participating in at the same time – and you won’t leave groups that other people are participating in;
- If a child requests communication features for a specific game, parents will receive a notice via the PS4 system, or via the PlayStation App (mobile app);
- The child will receive notification if their parents deny a request, or if they block the use of communication features.
Unlike updating the PS5, nothing as relevant was inserted this time. Just a few adjustments to the available functions.
With the confirmation of continued support by Sony for those who remain in the past generation, it is common that the tools already present are only optimized, and not fully reworked.
