The original System Shock and more than its successors System Shock 2 is one of my all-time favorites – with a 7-minute gameplay video of the System Shock remake.
Nightdive Studios is behind the remake of System Shock and has released a 7-minute “Research Teaser Trailer” that offers exploration, user interface, combat, graphics, and more. It was so beautiful now, I begged Shudan to insult me before my untimely death.
System Shock will release on PC later this summer on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and GoG — but those who pre-order will get a free copy of System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition. Not a bad deal, and if you’ve never played a System Shock game, I suggest you do… They are the inspiration for many games today.
- Return of Shudan: The talented Terry Brosius returns to bring his unique vocal venom to the evil AI SHODAN
- Hackers will hack: System Shock features a completely revamped hacking system featuring new 6 Degrees of Freedom (6DoF) gameplay, providing new enemies and challenges
- Familiar but…different: The Fortress Station is bigger and scarier than ever with new areas, traps, puzzles and of course lots of secrets to reveal.
- horror sound: Re-recorded audio logs give players a chilling bait of knowledge drops as they piece together what happened to the residents of Citadel Station
- Robots, zombies, lasers… Oh my God لهBlast, destroy and occasionally run from reimagined foes like angry repair bots, handheld laser “hoppers,” mutants, cyborgs and all manner of bloodthirsty monsters and aggressive machines.
