Al-Marsad newspaper: The report of the American magazine “Times Higher Education” has revealed the best Arab universities for the year 2023.
The report showed that universities in the Kingdom occupied half of the top 10 spots on the list.

King Abdulaziz University took the lead, with a total of 63 points, which ranked it 101st in the world, and King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mineral Resources came in second place, advancing 4 places over the its 2022 ranking.
Third to sixth
Qatar University was ranked third, while King Saud University was ranked fourth in the Arab world, with a ranking of 251-300 among the best universities in the world.
As for fifth place, came the University of Sharjah, which advanced several places from its 2022 rankings, dropping to the 251-300 category, with Emirates University, which finished in sixth place.
Abu Dhabi University
Abu Dhabi University ranked seventh, together with Al-Faisal University, with a total of 48.7 points, and globally the two universities are ranked between 300 and 350, among the best universities.
4 universities are in ninth place
And in ninth place the American University of Beirut, the Islamic University Imam Muhammad bin Saud, Hail University in Saudi Arabia and Khalifa University in the United Arab Emirates, with the same marks, and the last Arab universities among the 400 best universities in the world, according to the “Times Higher Education” classification.
An Egyptian university
And in 13th place, Aswan University came in as the top-ranked Egyptian university, and the only one among Egyptian universities among the world’s top 500 universities.
