In the mountains north of San Diego, California is a modernist mansion built of white concrete and glass.
“Razor House” rises above the rocks, and some describe the view of this house as “breathtaking”!
It is home to singer Alicia Keys and her husband, music producer Cassim Dean, known as Swizz Beatz, who share the mansion with their two children, Genesis and Egypt.
The mansion of nearly 11,000 square meters, situated on a rock, overlooks the Pacific Ocean in a region known as Razor Point.
The property has four bedrooms, a round living room, a hall with walls and a ceiling with acoustic treatment, a swimming pool with a water heating system and a roof with a spa center and an outdoor kitchen.
It is said that this home inspired the creators of the Tony Stark mansion in the Marvel series – “Iron Man”.
In an interview with Architectural Digest, Cassim Dean said he “fell in love” with the house long before he and Alicia Keys bought it. Moreover – a picture of the house stood as wallpaper in his phone for 8 years.
With the purchase of the property in 2019, the couple commissioned interior designer Kelly Behan to transform the space into a “House of Dreams”, filling it with works of art by black artists, a parking lot full of Ferraris and “boundless” pool. See photos from the mansion in the posts above.
