The government has carried out the process of stopping analog TV broadcasts in stages.
Starting May 1, 2022, some regions can only use digital TV broadcasts.
However, people can watch digital TV broadcasts without using a Set Top Box (STB), here’s how.

To be able to enjoy digital TV broadcasts, people can check whether the TV sets at home already support digital broadcasting or not.
Checks can go directly to the TV set.
Apart from that, there are other ways to watch digital TV without STB, as reported by the Ministry of Communications and Informatics Digital Broadcasting page.
You just follow these steps:
- Visit https://siarandigital.kominfo.go.id/
- Click the digital TV set menu at the top of the screen
- There will be three categories to choose from, namely device name, brand, and model/type
- Select the Television category in the devices section and enter the make and model of the TV you own
- The TV model name will be available if entered in digital TV.
No need to change the TV
