Samsung’s upcoming foldable phone models, the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5, have finally appeared in a benchmark Geekbench and thanks to him we have confirmed what chipset they will use.
It will be about Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 for Galaxy. This chipset offers higher individual core clocks than the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen2 and first appeared in the Galaxy S23 series. The tests showed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 achieves excellent results. He earned on one core 2014 points and the multicore test then 5022 points. The performance is therefore even slightly higher than that of the aforementioned Galaxy S23 series, including the Ultra version. The Galaxy Z Flip5 even has a slightly better score. Specifically 2030 points in the single-core test and in the multi-core test it then reached 5,213 points.
