Facebook Gaming wants to take action against cheaters in CoD Warzone.
Call of Duty: Warzone and the Cheaters – an annoying constant topic that many players have long been sick of. The battle royale is still haunted by scammers who often even stream how they use hacks. Questionable incidents have also occurred at major tournaments. That should be over now, at least with Facebook Gaming.
Facebook takes action against cheaters
As Facebook told the well-known CoD expert Rob “Slasher” Breslau, the platform now wants to take stricter action against cheaters.

A Facebook Gaming employee said on the matter:
“Cheating is not welcome at Facebook Gaming. Last week we took a first step to address cheating on our platform by introducing new guidelines that allow us to demonetize creators who are obviously cheating on Facebook Gaming. That means that cheaters are excluded from our partner and level-up programs that include monetization options such as stars and fan subscriptions. “
It remains to be seen whether the other major streaming platforms will take similar measures soon. It would of course be desirable that possible sources of income for cheaters dry up.
Warzone loses big streamer
The well-known CoD streamer recently had Vikkstar announced that he will be boycotting Warzone because fraud can be openly streamed. The trigger for this was a monetized stream on Facebook Gaming in which Openly hacks were used. In the meantime, Facebook has removed the author and the corresponding video.
According to its own information, Vikkstar is currently in talks with Activision. He hopes, like many other players, that the publisher will soon find effective steps against the cheaters that are making Warzone unsafe.
For our shooter expert Phil, the cheater problem is one of the most important hurdles that Warzone must finally overcome.
