Cheap with 5G: Samsung works on a new affordable cell phone with support for the new network

Samsung is increasingly investing in the 5G mobile market to drive its growth. According to SamMobile, her next gambit should involve a new affordable smartphone compatible with the new network, which should be launched first in Europe.

Information indicates that the device may be the 5G version of the Galaxy A23, which is currently equipped with a Snapdragon 680, which only supports 4G, so the new version should be released with another chip.

If the processor must be new, the other specs must be the same, so the Galaxy A23 5G must keep the 6.6-inch TFT Full HD+ screen with 90Hz, 4GB of RAM and expandable 128GB internal storage.

In the camera sector we find an 8 MP front sensor and four rear sensors: a 50 MP primary, a 5 MP secondary wide-angle, a 2 MP macro and a 2 MP depth detection sensor.

According to the Galaxy Club portal, the Galaxy A23 5G may be launched first in Europe, but it is not yet possible to say when, as Samsung has not yet given any clues about a date.
