Webcams and, of course, free video calling programs are currently used by company employees for consultations when working from home, but also, for example, by schoolchildren in distance learning. That is why webcams are now a scarce commodity.

The same was true in the spring, when these image recorders virtually disappeared from stores. During the holidays, the situation with accessibility has improved, but currently the vast majority of cheap webcams are sold out again.

At the same time, it was no problem to buy webcams for less than CZK 300 at the beginning of this year. However, models with a price of up to CZK 700 are currently hopelessly sold out in the vast majority of stores, and individual sellers prefer not to even mention when they could be in stock again – the customer only learns that they are unavailable for cheap models.

In recent days, however, it has also been dusted off with more expensive models, which offer higher resolution and better quality microphones. Finding a webcam in stores with a price lower than 1500 CZK is not easy at all. And if they succeed, they are usually completely unknown brands of Chinese production.

However, models targeting demanding users are still in stock. However, we are already talking about high-resolution webcams, which are offered for amounts exceeding CZK 1,500.
