Samsung is working to diversify its portfolio of entry-level 5G smartphones. The A32 5G will certainly help with that, but apparently next year we’ll see an even lower-end 5G model – the Galaxy A22 5G.
According to a rumor from Samsung’s home country, this device will sell in South Korea for around KRW 200,000, which currently means around $ 181 or € 147 or INR 13,380. The point of this phone is that Samsung has a very cheap 5G handset to compete with the Realmes and Redmis on the way.
Galaxy A21s
The A22 5G is expected to be a star, in terms of sales, in India and Southeast Asia. It will be launched in the second half of 2021, as a successor to the Galaxy A21. The A32 5G, on the other hand, is expected to launch in the first half of the year.
No specifications have been released for the Galaxy A22 5G, but to hit that price point we assume it could go for a MediaTek Dimensity 700 series chipset, or a new yet unannounced entry-level offering from Qualcomm’s 6 series. .
