MEXICO CITY.- Some criminals are taking advantage of social networks, such as Facebook, to commit thefts simulating the sale of vehicles At low price.
Yair Otandehui fell into such a trap, to whom thieves offered him a cheap car but when he arrived at the meeting place they ambushed him to take the money with which he would pay for the vehicle.

Yair, 34, tried to prevent the robbery but lThe criminals shot and killed him on Pino Street, Cristo Rey neighborhood, in Xochimilco.
Cheap car offer on Facebook
His wife said that through Facebook they offered him a 2013 Golf at a good price and they sent him by phone a photograph of the alleged circulation card of the car.
They quoted him at a point in Tepepan, on a narrow street where a car barely fits, and when they were on the site they sent them another location.
Suddenly two men passed in front of the car they were traveling in, a Suzuki plates 895-XVZ, and one came over to take the keys from them and ask Yair to hand over the money with which he was going to pay for the Golf.
Criminals shot him and took the money
Yair tried to get out to defend himself, but the attackr pulled out a gun and shot him in the face, grabbed the bag where the money was and escaped with his accomplice.
An ambulance went to the scene, where a paramedic confirmed that Yair died from a gunshot that lodged in the skull.
Authorities review video cameras in the area where the homicide was recorded.
