The collection for blood donation took place on Monday afternoon at the town hall of Châtenoy-le-Royal, organized by the French Blood Institute (EFS) and the voluntary donors of the Amicale des Châtenoyens chaired by Christiane Trémoy. For the occasion, 47 donors, including two new ones, came forward and were sampled. “This good number encourages us to continue to motivate people when they donate, needs remain important”, assures the president.
“Without any apprehension”
Andreina Lauxeur, present at this collection, confides: “I am 30 years old and I am a mother of two children. Working in the region for a few years, I settled in Châtenoy-le-Royal. In regards to my choice to donate my blood, I have always wanted to help others and especially those who are suffering as a result of an accident or illness and need a blood transfusion. »
She continues: “I attend collections without any apprehension, always being surrounded by the friendly and cared for by the medical team. I am happy to make this generous gesture and invite others to join me in saving lives. »
