Chateau Meiland on Monday and Thursday from 31 August | NOW

The fourth season of Chateau Meiland can be seen on SBS from August 31. From then on, the reality show around the Martien Meiland family will be broadcast twice a week, both on Mondays and Thursdays.

After the first three seasons were all about refurbishing and running a bed and breakfast in the chateau in France, the family returns to the Netherlands in the fourth season. The castle in France has to be completely renovated before the sale and the family moves to Hengelo, where they also have to do some work.

At the end of last year, the Meiland family already announced that they would sell the chateau in the near future. They planned to complete 2020 because the chateau was fully booked, but the corona crisis made this impossible. In February it was announced that the family is moving to Hengelo in Gelderland. Chateau Marillaux was put up for sale in June.

The third season of Chateau Meiland came to an end in June. The last episode was watched by 1.3 million people. The most watched episode of the series to date has attracted 1.49 million viewers.

The successful reality series around Martien Meiland, his wife Erica Renkema and their daughters Maxime and Montana won the Golden Televizier Ring in 2019.

Chateau Meiland can be seen on SBS weekly on Mondays and Thursdays at 8:30 PM from August 31.
