Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Calamity will be released for Nintendo Switch on November 20, 2020. As if my stock market isn’t going to hurt enough in November … But, yesterday Nintendo showed an in-depth gameplay video for the game and it looked great!
Nintendo Treehouse is known for showcasing gameplay for upcoming Nintendo titles, this episode was no exception. The video shows the map for Age of Calamity and especially some gameplay of different characters. The UI, map, gameplay and characters resemble a faster version of Breath of the Wild. The game actually looks very promising.

Now on to the important news: KOROKS! These are the little fun plants that we could collect in Breath of the Wild. Looks like these will be huntable in Age of Calamity too! It is not yet certain what rewards will be associated with finding the Koroks. Will it be another golden mountain of poop? We’ll see on November 20th!
Yet you see that the combat is really going to look cool. Graphically the game is quite similar to Breath of the Wild. The UI and map also seem very accurate in terms of design, anyway. Age of Calamity could just be the biggest surprise of the year, guess what?
Yahaha! You found me!
You might find Koroks hiding across stages in #HyruleWarriors: Age of Calamity! Keep an eye out to find them all! #NintendoTreehouseLivehttps://t.co/KyXDFoiK5i pic.twitter.com/6upyvsOAVO
