Leaving from Place Drouaise, go towards rue de la Porte-Drouaise, leave rue Muret on your right and continue on rue de la Brèche. At the corner of rue du Massacre, stands the chapel Our Lady of the Breach, erected following an event of the war of religions in 1568 in Chartres, of which it shelters some vestiges, balls, the statue of the protective virgin…
The walk continues to rue Saint-André, where a collegiate, which has become a place of cultural exhibition. Going around this old church, whose construction began around 960, we discover it on the side of the Eure.
Along this stream runs the rue du Massacre then the rue de la Tannerie which runs along a discreet and large door. Behind the Lorin house, where little hands have excelled in the art of stained glass since 1863.
