Chartres: the Montgolfiade promises a magnificent sky filled with balloons

Fingers crossed that the weather conditions from the start of the week continue, at least until the end of next weekend. If the wind does not pick up, several magnificent shows will be played in the sky at Chartres et en Eure-et-Loir, from this Friday, September 10, 2021.

The fifth edition of the Montgolfiade de Chartres is due to be held in a few days, from Friday to Sunday September 12, 2021.

Twenty balloons and five flights

It is about a “great popular festival”, according to its organizers, intended for the curious or “lovers of the balloon”.

About twenty hot air balloons from all over France will meet as soon as Friday, September 10, 2021, for a first take-off scheduled at 7.15 a.m. from Chartres aerodrome and a second at 6.15 p.m.

Five flights are planned throughout the weekend. The opportunity to take full eyes.

However, the flights are not open to the public, because “reserved for the partners of the event”, indicates the City of Chartres.
