The Apostrophe media library in Chartres (Eure-et-Loir) organizes a meeting between the author Mohamed Mbougar Sarr and his readers this Friday, April 15, 2022 from 6 p.m.

In the footsteps of two Senegalese writers
In his book published by Philippe Rey, he traces the story of two Senegalese writers, one in our contemporary era, Diégane Latyr Faye, and the other, TC Elimane, who died after the scandal of one of his publications. in 1938.
Diégane then embarks, fascinated, on the trail of the mysterious TC Elimane, confronting the great tragedies of colonialism and the Shoah. From Senegal to France via Argentina, what truth awaits him at the center of this labyrinth?
The Malian writer Yambo Ouologuem inspired the character of TC Elimane, and dedicated his book to him.
