The municipal council of Chartres (Eure-et-Loir) supports an inclusive housing project. This is the result of the vote, unanimously pronounced last night, Thursday May 27, 2021, in the new hemicycle of Chartres.
This project is still at the stage reflection, said Ladislas Vergne, deputy mayor in charge of Solidarity. “The project leader is Chartres Métropole Habitat, we simply wish to seek the support of the municipal council”.
20 housing units in the station area
Twenty dwellings are likely to emerge from the ground, including ten reserved people with disabilities.
It is an ambitious, vast reflection, carried out within the framework of the ELAN law with the Department and the Regional Health Agency.
This inclusive housing residence would be located in the district of the station hub. “The action on inclusive housing is to offer a person with a disability a home, a free choice,” commented the youngest member of Chartres city council.
