Thursday March 16 at 8:00 p.m. at Chartres Cathedral: spiritual concert by the University of Connecticut Choir.
The University of Connecticut in the United States specializes in teaching and learning music for young students. Its courses include both musical training, the practice of instruments, orchestra training, teaching and vocal coaching and choral ensembles.
The Concert Choir (main choir of the university) regularly participates in concerts throughout the USA. The group approaches different repertoires: baroque, romantic, contemporary.
Every 2 years, the group of singers offers a tour: in 2023, the Concert Choir will give several concerts in France – notably in Strasbourg, Paris (La Madeleine church) and Chartres (cathedral).
Works by Brahms, Mendelssohn, Josquin des Prez, Raczynski, Bruckner, Duruflé, Poulenc.
