Chartres returns to the game against Plabennec

C’Chartres Football has rediscovered the taste for victory, on its own ground, forty days after its inaugural success against Granville (2-1). Without making a great match, the men of Jean-Pierre Papin were somewhat reassured and pushed a little more a small team of Plabennec (2-0), Saturday night.

The fact of match

As Gwen Servais, the coach of Plabennec, expressed it at the end of the meeting, “the turning point of the match is at the hour mark when (Erwan) Colas and (Mourad) Louzif came into play”. So far, Chartres had only been in a hurry for a quarter of an hour, the first, and found the opening by Hémia (1-0, 14 ‘). Paradoxically, this goal paralyzed the Chartrains, without a solution like the Fleury-Koné duo, very unobtrusive on the sides. After three quarters of an hour of non-production by his team, Jean Pierre Papin then launched Erwan Colas and Mourad Louzif (58 ‘) into the battle, going from a 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2. But, rather than talking about a winning scheme, it was the envy of the two newcomers that was striking. On his first ball, the young Moroccan almost relieved the CCF (60 ‘). He made up for it eighteen minutes later by becoming the decisive passer for Colas’ third achievement of the season.

The live of Chartres – Plabennec

Hemia’s premiere

Before this 7th day, Chartres relied on three scorers: Sidibé (3), Archimbaud (2) and Colas (2). The young Amine Hémia (23 years old) signed his entry into this very closed circle by opening the scoring with a strike from the left – yet not his best foot – low to the ground. A reward for the native of Saumur (Maine-et-Loire) who passed through the Nantes hope center and the SCO Angers training center and who played in N3, in Avoine, last season. He played just during the first 45 minutes, the period when Chartres suffered the most, before fading in the last half hour… a highlight for the Euréliens.

Versailles alone undefeated

After this 7th day, only one team remains undefeated, Versailles, which won on the field of Vannes (1-0) at the very end of the match. Lorient and Poissy thus experienced their first setback, curiously on their lawn. Suddenly, the new leader is called Blois, who won at Guingamp in a crazy match (2-3). At the bottom of the table, Vitré took his first point (and scored his first goal) on the lawn of Granville (1-1), while Saint-Malo was crushed (4-0) by Voltigeurs de Châteaubriant who did not ‘have lost more since the first day and are now the new dolphins of the Blésois.
