It is this Saturday, November 4 that the third edition of the Chartres Nocturne en Lumières is being held, organized by the ASPTT Chartres and Republican Echo, as part of the Remarkable Walks. If the wind and showers which have crossed the department since this morning have led to fears of its cancellation, the event will be maintained.

The start will be given at 8 p.m., from the esplanade of Notre-Dame de Chartres cathedral. In association with the City of Chartres and several partners, five routes will be offered (5, 8, 12, 16 and 20 km).
Since Friday evening and throughout Saturday, the organizers have followed the evolution of the weather forecasts and remained in regular contact with the local authorities. Until this evening, neither the prefecture of Eure-et-Loir nor the City of Chartres have given any counter-order to the maintenance of the Nocturne.

If the weather deteriorates in the evening, the longest routes could be shortened. The decision will be made in real time and the organizers will inform participants of the direction to take to return to the shelter as quickly as possible.
