The Chartres dolls fair opens its doors to visitors this Sunday, March 13, at the Maîtrise-Table Saint-Yves. The show, organized by the SOS sick doll store, in Chartres, resumes its quarters only three months after the last edition. Vanessa Brunel, co-manager of the store explains:
“We had to postpone because of the crisis. That’s why it seems very close, but it’s exceptional. We hope to get back to our usual cruising speed”.

The “Chartres in dolls” fair returns this Sunday for a seventh edition
More than 500 lots put up for sale
As for previous editions, the fair is organized the day after the auction at the Galerie de Chartres. More than 500 lots are on sale this Saturday, March 12.
Elsa Gody, auctioneer, recalls that the sale is “for all budgets”, with objects estimated between €15 and €10,000.
“The highest estimates regularly run between €6,000 and €12,000, depending on manufacturer, size and era. We make conservative and attractive estimates for collectors. In theaters, we have already crossed the €30,000 mark. »

Some objects could be the surprise of this day: the sale of three twin babies from the first period, made in the 1870s, each estimated between 3,000 and 6,000 €. “It’s quite exceptional that we manage to bring together these three objects, of three different sizes, in the same place. »
