Hospital workers are on strike Chartres (Eure-et-Loir) and the hospital center, and, consequently, the patients, clink glasses. Sick leave is increasing, among “nurses in particular”, announce the Hospitals of Chartres this Wednesday, July 13, 2022, who are forced to make decisions to limit damage.
The emergency department of Chartres, at the Louis-Pasteur du Coudray hospital center has restricted access, in the evening and at night. The establishment will not be able to accommodate patients from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m., except in serious cases.
What to do if you have an emergency in Chartres?
The vital and functional emergencies will be taken care of, we say to the communication department of the Chartrain public health establishment. For example, “an open fracture, a myocardial infarction, a stroke”…
From 8 p.m. and all night long, before going to the emergency room, make a phone call to the SAMU (by dialing 15).
Each patient will be referred either to a general practitioner or to the on-call medical center, to a pharmacist or to another healthcare facility, depending on the assessment of their state of health.
And to conclude: “the Chartres Hospital Center is working to remedy this situation”.
