Tuesday, October 6, 2020, shortly before 8 a.m., a young man of 17 is about to join his internship in Chartres (Eure-et-Loir). On his way, he meets a homeless man who approaches him on the stairs of the Family allowance fund (CAF).
“He approached, told me a story of a bag or boxes,” describes the teenager to investigators. The 50-year-old then begins to tell her about old sexual relations.
Hit twice
“I was not listening too much, he took the opportunity to feel the private parts”, reports the young man to the police. He pulls away, but the man starts again a second time.
“He apologized because I had a girlfriend”, details the victim to investigators.
The young man then joined the Caf building, where he did an internship, before going to drop off complaint.
The defendant says he is only attracted to young people
At the bar, this Thursday, November 19, 2020, the accused responds briefly. According to one psychological expertise, he suffers from impaired mental faculty and cannot write.
“I have always been attracted to the youngest, from the age of 16”, explains the defendant, assisted by a curatorship.
The president of the Criminal Court of Chartres recalls that no one has the right to touch a third party without his consent.
Isn’t this the first time we’ve had to tell you?
“Yes”, replies the man, hosted in a hotel in Chartres for the duration of the confinement.
Registered in Fijais
“It is not a sexual assault as we are used to seeing before our jurisdiction”, declares the Public Prosecutor, before asking for four months of imprisonment accompanied by three years of probation, compulsory psychiatric care and work obligation.
The Chartres Criminal Court handed down a sentence of three months suspended prison sentence and the inscription of the man at the File of perpetrators of sexual or violent offenses (Fijais).
