Are you satisfied with the testing of the new traffic plan in the Bourgneuf-Fresnay-Rechèvres district in Chartres (Eure-et-Loir) ?
The municipality of Chartres is implementing a “peaceful city” program. In the capital of Eure-et-Loir, we now drive (almost) everywhere at 30 km / h, traffic lights are removed and new traffic plans are being put in place.
An experimental plan that satisfies local residents?
In October 2020, the City of Chartres tested a new traffic plan in the northern sector of the city. It enters the perimetere Rue du Bourgneuf, de Fresnay and de Rechèvres.
The deputy mayor in charge of improving the living environment, Guillaume Bonnet, wishes to take stock of these changes and gather the opinions of the inhabitants.
Meetings with residents Monday and Tuesday
Two public meetings will take place Monday, October 11, 2021, at 8 p.m., at the Maison Pour Tous du Pont-Neuf and Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 8 p.m. at the Maison de la Cité, impasse Huysmans.
They are open to the inhabitants of the Bourgneuf sector for the first, and to those of the Fresnay and Rechèvres sectors for the second.
